{"id":11,"date":"2013-04-28T18:06:27","date_gmt":"2013-04-28T17:06:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/revued.net\/?page_id=11"},"modified":"2013-05-13T16:37:27","modified_gmt":"2013-05-13T15:37:27","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.revued.net\/index.php\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>James Hewson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:small\">James Hewson is a teacher, gamer and veritable hub of useless information. \u00a0Having been given a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas in 1990 that started a life long love for pixels, he owns almost every console released since. \u00a0A year later, his family got their first computer and his love of gaming and computers has led to an all consuming obsession with technology.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:small\">He began writing when the opportunity to contribute to a group editorial arose on a website he visits regularly. \u00a0His section of the article came second in a poll and he\u00a0realised\u00a0he could actually write. Like an adult, with sentences and everything.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:small\">Now he has started a website to give himself a voice. \u00a0The voice of a man in his late twenties who still cares about games, who wants more than explosions from movies and who wants to discuss, analyse and critique the finer points of modern media.<\/span><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>AJ Kingham<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:small\">AJ has always had an unhealthy relationship with television. \u00a0It started out innocent at first, they would meet up from time to time, maybe the odd bit of hand holding, but then things took a sinister turn.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:small\">In 1994, a hip group of six twenty-somethings from New York showed up and could they be any more amusing? She began walking into her neighbours flat uninvited to eat their food and talk endlessly about her dating woes. \u00a0That same year she fell in with this Spooky guy and his nay-saying sidekick who used to get involved with all manner of creepy goings on. \u00a0She became intrigued by witches, ghosts and monsters; though not government conspiracies about aliens, as that was pretty tedious. \u00a0Then in 1998, things started to look up. \u00a0She found herself hanging out with a former cheerleader; who was cool and pretty and seemed relatively normal, until she started getting into fights in back alleys with very pale, seedy characters.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:small\">It all came to a head in 1999 when she found herself sharing a flat with a pair of occasional stoners pretending to be a couple to get cheap rent. \u00a0After that she was lost forever in a downward spiral of plane crashes, Doctors and\u00a0whore mongering\u00a0dwarfs . . . and she plans on taking you with her.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:small\">Oh and she&#8217;s also a management accountant who loves cross-stitching and kittens.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James Hewson James Hewson is a teacher, gamer and veritable hub of useless information. \u00a0Having been given a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas in 1990 that started a life long love for pixels, he owns almost every console released since. \u00a0A year later, his family got their first computer and his love of gaming and computers has led to an all consuming obsession with technology.
